Medlife, is a healthcare technology company founded in 2014 by Tushar Kumar, started with a vision of making healthcare in India simple and affordable for regular men and women.
Starting with merely seven employees in Bangalore, Medlife has rapidly expanded, now employing 2000 people, with a presence in over 22 cities across India. The Medlife app makes it easy for anyone to upload prescription information to get medications delivered to their doorstep in 48 hours or less.
Medlife Before Zoho People
"The HR software we previously used was not user friendly, but wanted to change to a software that was more user friendly for employees across all departments," said Pavan, Senior HR Manager at Medlife. As he also notes, "We checked a few products in the market, like Bamboo HR, and sat through demos and decided that Zoho People would be the best choice for Medlife."
After multiple demos for different departments during the onboarding process, Medlife employees started using Zoho People.
After Implementing Zoho People
"All of our employees use attendance everyday. Their attendance for the day is marked in Zoho People. They also use the Leave Tracker extensively. That's been really useful," Pavan said.
The HR department at Medlife also creates custom forms in Zoho People for various requirements, like employee reimbursements, which are shared with all employees in the company, thus saving the HR precious time in collecting data from employees across the company.
Pavan concluded by saying, "Has Zoho improved the overall efficiency of employee management at Medlife? I would definitely say it has, but it is not complete yet. We are still exploring ways to get the best use out of Zoho People for our organisation."
