Lead Management

The Partner Store is not meant for tracking each and every lead a partner talks to or as a place to upload an entire list of leads. The partner store is only meant for qualified prospects who are likely to purchase from you and use your consulting and implementation services. 

A few suggestions:

  1. If you plan to launch an e-mail marketing plan, we suggest you implement the Zoho Sign-up boxes on your website and direct users to this page to ensure they are tracked to your partner account.
  2. For new prospects planning to evaluate and buy Zoho licenses, either add them to the partner store as free versions of the Zoho services and upgrade them later to a paid account; or let customer make their own subscription purchase, and later "map" them to your account
  3. "Registering Leads" if you have an important prospect and want to ensure they are associated with your account, please let the partner team know in advance: partner-support@zohocorp.com - this is in addition to adding them as a free user in the system

Note: Zoho Partner store maintains free accounts under a specific partner account for a period of 90 days after which the account becomes disassociated and no longer appears under the partner's account. If the customer decides to purchase services and licenses from the same partner after this period, then they can be re-associated with the specific partner account.

Lead Conflict: If a specific partner tries to add a customer and receives a notice: "Customer mapped to another reseller" this means that the customer has already spoken with another partner or has been added by the other partner at some point. To "map" this customer to your account, you will need first to get a written e-mail from the customer confirming that they wish to work with your company as their Zoho service provider.
