# How do I create a debit note for my customer when there is an increase in the rate?

To create a debit note:

*   Go to _Sales_ from the left sidebar and click **Invoices**.
*   Click **New Debit Note** from the _\+ New_ dropdown.
*   Enter the required details.
*   Click **Save**.
