Can I create a new expense account in Zoho Books?

Yes, you can. To create a new expense account:

  • Go to the Accountant module and select Chart of Accounts.
  • Click + New Account.
  • In the pop-up that appears, select the Account Type as Expense and enter an Account Name.
  • Provide a Description and an Account Code, if necessary.
  • Click Save.

Alternatively,

You can also create a new expense account by clicking + New Account from the Expense Account drop-down while creating a new expense.
