# I have recorded a payment as ‘Check’, but i’m not able to see them in the checks list?

If you recorded a payment for a bill by selecting the **Record Payment** option and selecting the **Check** option from the **Payment Mode** drop down, then this will not be same as the **Paid via Check** method of recording payment.

Only if you record payments from the **Pay via Check** option and wish to print it, the check payment will be shown in the **Payments Made** module.
