# Integrate Zoho Books With Zoho Commerce

Zoho Commerce is a quintessential e-commerce platform that helps businesses establish their presence in the realm of online selling. Upon integration with Zoho Books, you don’t have to juggle anymore between different applications to manage tasks such as accounting, finance, and tax returns.

## Benefits of Integrating with Zoho Commerce

Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur or an expanding enterprise, Zoho Commerce is tailored to serve all purposes. Integrating Zoho Commerce with your Zoho Books account lets you:

*   Automated two-way sync of transactions and customers between both applications
*   Hassle free tax handling, since there’s a perfect sync in the tax rates between Zoho Books and Zoho Commerce

**Scenario:** Jason is using Zoho Books to handle accounts of his offline business. Now, he wishes to expand his reach and customer base by selling online. To unlock his fullest selling potential, he integrates with Zoho Commerce. Within a matter of minutes, his online store is live. He can highlight best-selling products on the storefront, manage and fulfil orders on time from his store with Zoho Commerce, and manage transactions through his Zoho Books account.

## Connect Zoho Books with Zoho Commerce

To connect Zoho Books with Zoho Commerce:

1.  Log in to your Zoho Books organisation.
2.  Go to **Integrations & Marketplace** under _Settings_.
3.  Click **Try Now** next to Zoho Commerce. This will redirect you to the Zoho Commerce website.

4.  Click **Access Zoho Commerce**.
5.  Click **Create New Store**.
6.  A dialogue box appears inquiring about your business. Fill in the details and click **Next**.
7.  Choose the Zoho Books organisation in which you’ve initiated integration to associate with your store.

8.  In the screen that follows, click **Proceed**.
9.  Hover over the template that aptly fits your business and click **Choose**.

You’ll be redirected to your Commerce store’s landing page.

This marks the completion of a successful integration between Zoho Books and Zoho Commerce.

The following modules will be synced between Zoho Books and Zoho Commerce:

Price Lists

*   _Portal-enabled Customers_ and _Non-Portal enabled Customers_ will be treated as **Registered Users** and **Guests**, respectively.
*   All guest customers who place orders through your store will be listed as **Customers** in Zoho Books.
*   Payment gateways that are supported in both platforms, when integrated with Zoho Books, the connection will also extend in Zoho Commerce.

If you’ve already enabled Zoho Inventory integration for your Zoho Books organisation, then:

*   _Items_ will be imported as **products without variants**.
*   _Item groups_ will be imported as **products with variants** if there is more than one variant.
*   _Item groups with only one variant_ will be imported as **products without variants**.
*   All products created in Zoho Commerce will be synced as **Item Groups** in Zoho Books/Zoho Inventory.

**Insight:** Integration between Zoho Books and Zoho Commerce is a two-way sync, which means once the integration is established, data will be fetched from Zoho Books to Zoho Commerce and vice-versa.
