Once your hub is ready, you can create spaces for the different teams in your organization. A space is like a common workplace for your team to collect, organize, and share knowledge. It provides a platform where individuals with a common goal can come together, share ideas, and provide work solutions. For example, you can create spaces for different teams in your organization, such as Engineering, Customer Service, or HR.

Organize knowledge with manuals

With Zoho Learn, you can create manuals to organize your knowledge, and share them with everyone in your hub, a space, or specific members. A manual is like a book of related content. You can combine the content that belongs to a common topic in a manual.

For example, under the Engineering Space, you could have manuals for design, coding standards, and technical specifications.

You can create the following manuals in Zoho Learn:

Private Manuals:

These manuals are not associated with a space. They can be shared individually with the members or other spaces in your hub.

Space Manuals:

These manuals are created inside spaces. All the manuals associated with a particular space will be listed inside of it.

Organize knowledge with manuals

Create content using articles

Once you have decided how your information will be organized, you can create content using articles. Articles are like the pages in a book. They are the basic form of knowledge in Zoho Learn. For example, the Design Manual can have articles for different modules like Web UI elements, Animations, and Navigation. To organize further, you can also group your articles into chapters inside a manual.

Share your Manuals with other users

Once you are all set to share the knowledge with your team members, the admin of the manuals can share them with the members in your hub.

Based on the needs of the users, the admin can grant one of the following privileges.

  • Readers can view the content of the manuals.

  • Contributors can create and edit content.

  • Admins can manage manuals, users and other settings.

Build training programs using courses

Zoho Learn’s intuitive course builder helps you create engaging learning materials and increase the impact of your training. Depending on your needs, you can tailor your courses by choosing from a wide range of lesson types and organize your lessons into chapters.

You can create the following lessons in Zoho Learn:

  • Video

    You can upload videos from your device or embed YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion videos using a URL or embed code.

  • Text

    You can use the text lesson editor to combine text with other options, such as blockquote, links, code snippets, table, etc.

  • Document

    In a document lesson, you can upload docx, pdf, txt, rtf, or ppt files from your device.

  • Blocks

    With blocks, you can mix different content types to create a lesson. The block lesson editor lets you build a combination of the following content types:
