Richard Ross is the Director, Business Operations at Nubifer, Inc. and a very busy man. Based out of San Diego, CA Richard is responsible for growing the corporate revenue and new business development at Nubifer, all the while ensuring the smooth transition of his clients enterprise to the cloud ecosystem.
In today's complex IT environment, CIO's and IT heads of mid to large size enterprises have to make very conscious decisions regarding hardware, software and cloud integrations for their company. Cloud Integration is where Nubifer Inc has found its speciality. Their extremely talented and trained consultants provide guidance on how to take your current enterprise application environment to the next level by leveraging the power of cloud computing. Their products and services are custom made to suit their clients business needs and requirements.
Nubifer offers services and products like SaaS (Software as a Service), CRM(Customer Relationship Management) , HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) , PaaS (Platform as a Service), HaaS (Hosting as a Service) to enterprises so they can reduce their costs related to IT infrastructure and software packages. Ross in his line of work often meets technology heads of various companies to discuss and analyze on to provide better solution for their company and also reduce their IT costs. IT landscape has changed a lot now than what it was before and all major firms have well established IT hardware and software in place. To convince them to move to the cloud must be a difficult and challenging prospect. Ross says, "Most of them already have invested a lot in their IT. Convincing them to move over to the cloud is not as difficult as getting to talk to the decision makers. Once we talk to the IT heads of the company and explain to them the benefits of using a SaaS enabled software and the advantage it entails, they are interested and excited to start the new venture." Greater flexibility, reduced IT costs and quicker deployment seems to be some of the key reasons why more and more companies are welcoming the 'cloud' with open arms.
Believer of cloud services, Nubifer themselves were looking for a cloud enabled accounting software to manage their business finances. Their key points while searching were that it should integrate seamlessly with G Suite and is cost effective. In Richard's words, "We were looking for a right fit of applications for our company." They tried a few but nothing seemed to click.
Introduced to Zoho quite early on they tried Zoho CRM first and finally checked out Zoho Books as well. Richard says, "Accounting to me is measuring money that comes in and goes out of your business. It should provide a complete picture of your financial health. In Zoho Books, I can create 10 invoices in like 2 minutes. We now have a central location of all our financial data and it's easy to keep track of income, expenses, customers, invoices everything at one place. We've tried the automatic bank feeds also and they work great for us."

We spoke for a few more minutes about his life in California and his love for beaches, surfing and sports. Like Richard says finding the 'right fit' is the key. Check out if Zoho Books is the right fit for your organization. Take a tour.
