# What are the ways a customer can make payments?

If the customer has associated a payment option to their subscription, Zoho Billing will automatically charge them on every renewal and you and your customers have nothing to worry about.

If it’s an offline subscription and no payment option has been associated, then the customer can make payment using the payment link in the invoice. If they pay you directly via cash or check, you can collect the payment and record the payment using the **Record Payment** option.
