# How do I group items based on categories while creating a quote?

You can categorize items in your quotes using item headers. Here’s how:

1.  Click **Quotes** under _Sales_ in the left sidebar.
    
2.  [Create a new quote](/books/help/quote/#create-quote) or [edit an existing quote](/books/help/quote/other-actions.html#edit).

Now, a header will be added in which you can enter an appropriate heading and categorize items.
