I want to transfer the profits I’ve gained to my partner. How do I do this in Zoho Books?

To transfer the profits you’ve gained to a partner in your organisation:

• Go to Accountant on the left sidebar and select Manual Journals.
• Click + New Journal in the top right corner of the page.
• Fill in the required details.
• Select Retained Earnings as the Debit account, and the account in which you want to record the transfer as the Credit account.
• Enter the amount debited and credited.
• Click Save and Publish.
