# When can I start using Zoho Billing?

You can start exploring Zoho Billing right away! All you need to do is sign up and begin testing using the test organization. You can even make test transactions for your merchant account, as the payment gateways support sandbox credentials.

[Create a test account](/ke/billing/kb/general/creating-test-organization.html) to get started.

Once you’re comfortable with the product and understand how it can help your business, you can switch to live mode to start billing your customers for real.
