Set Up Visitor Tracking for Hosted Payment Pages
Connect Google Analytics or Meta Pixel (previously Facebook Pixel) to your Hosted Payment Pages to track how visitors interact with your checkout flow. This helps you measure conversion rates, identify drop-off points, and improve signup performance.
Visitor tracking is configured per template. Each template can have one tracking tool connected at a time.
Patricia manages a SaaS subscription business at Zylker Technologies and wants to understand why customers are abandoning their checkout. She connects Google Analytics to her Hosted Payment Page template in Zoho Billing. Within a week, the analytics data reveals a high drop-off on the payment step for visitors from mobile devices. Patricia adjusts the page layout and sees a 15% improvement in completed signups.
Metrics You Can Track
Google Analytics tracks:
- Page visits by country
- Number of page visits in the last 30 minutes
- Total visits and total unique visitors
- Number of successful signups and unique users
- Number of failed signup attempts and unique users
Failed signup attempts are counted only when the signup fails due to an error. If a customer leaves the page mid-process without an error, it is not counted as a failed attempt.
Meta Pixel tracks:
- Visitors who initiated a checkout
- Visitors who subscribed to a plan without a trial period
- Visitors who subscribed to a plan with a trial period

Meta Pixel is supported only for Multi-Page Hosted Payment Pages.
