How can I use my customer’s shipping address for tax calculation if I have integrated with Avalara?

If your organization is based out of the U.S.A. or Canada and if you’ve integrated with Avalara, you can use your customer’s Ship to address for verification and tax calculation.

• Click the Settings icon on the top right corner and select Taxes.
• In the page that follows, you will see the details of your Avalara integration.
• Click the Change link against Applicable For and choose “Use Shipping Address” and click Save to make the changes.
• Henceforth, your customer’s shipping address would be considered for verification of address and tax calculation.
