Home

When you log in to Zoho Spend, the Home page gives you a comprehensive overview of your organization’s spending operations.

The Home page acts as a centralized dashboard. Instead of moving between the Trips, Expenses, Procurement, and Payables modules, each dashboard presents real time visual summaries and key financial metrics, making it easier to track, review, and analyze your spending across the organization.

Every report on the Home page is derived from the actual records in your organization, that is, approved trips, approved reports, issued purchase orders, and processed bills, so the data always reflects your current state.

The reports focus on three business questions:

  • Where is money going? Total spend, split by category, vendor, department, or project.
  • What needs my attention? Records awaiting approval, reimbursement, booking, or payment.
  • How well is the process running? Approval times, reimbursement times, order-to-receive times, and policy compliance rates.

Home Page

The Home page is organized into four tabs. Each tab focuses on a distinct part of the spend lifecycle, and each report on the tab is described in detail on its own help page.

Spend Overview Dashboard

The Spend Overview dashboard shows organization wide spending at a glance. It combines expense spend, procurement spend, outstanding payables, budget consumption, and payment modes into a single view.

Travel Dashboard

The Travel dashboard tracks trip requests, bookings, and traveller behavior. It surfaces how many trips are ongoing, upcoming, or cancelled, how quickly trips get approved, and which employees travel most often.

Expense Dashboard

The Expenses dashboard focuses on employee submitted expenses and expense reports. It shows expense trends, top spenders, approval and reimbursement times, and policy compliance.

Procurement & Payables Dashboard

The Procurement & Payables dashboard covers the procure-to-pay cycle, from RFQs and purchase orders to bills and vendor payments. It highlights outstanding payables, PO vs Non-PO spend, bill processing efficiency, and top vendors.

Filter the Home Page

Every tab includes a Date Range filter at the top. Changing the date range refreshes all widgets on the current tab so the numbers match the period you want to analyze. Common ranges include This Month, This Quarter, This Year, and a Custom range.

The Travel tab also supports two additional filters — Travel Type and Policy, which let you narrow the view to a specific type of travel (for example, domestic or international) or a specific travel policy.

Many widgets, such as Spend Summary, also offer a Show Previous Period toggle. When enabled, the widget overlays data from the previous equivalent period on the same chart, so you can compare growth or decline at a glance.

Note: Only Submitted and Approved records are considered in the Home page reports.
