# Is there an option to disable statutory components if it does not apply to my company?

Yes. You can disable statutory components for your organisation by following these steps.

*   Go to **Settings > Statutory Components**.
*   Click the **Disable icon** at the bottom of each component’s tab.

> **Note**: Professional Tax (PT) can’t be disabled at the organisation level. You need to disable it for each employee.
