# Split - Overview

Split in Zoho Payments is a feature built for businesses that operate as marketplaces or platforms where multiple sellers, vendors, or service providers transact under one roof. It gives you full control over how incoming payments are divided and paid out to each of your connected accounts.

## Who is this for?

Split is designed for any business model where a single payment needs to be distributed among multiple parties. This includes:

*   **E-commerce marketplaces**: Where a customer buys from multiple sellers in a single transaction, and each seller needs to receive their share.
*   **Service platforms**: Home services, logistics, or gig economy platforms that collect payments from customers and pay out to service providers.
*   **Multi-vendor platforms**: Businesses that host multiple vendors under one storefront and need to automate commission-based payouts.
*   **Aggregator platforms**: Businesses that collect payments centrally and distribute funds across business units, partners, or franchisees.
