Use these to check device information, apply configuration updates, and manage settlement batching. * * * ## Device Settings Device Settings are the terminal’s Android system settings covering network, display, sound, and other hardware-level options. They’re separate from the Zoho Payments app and don’t affect payment processing. **Prerequisite:** Accessing the Device Settings requires a password. Your installation engineer shares this password with you when the device is handed over. 1. On the terminal home screen, tap _Settings_. 2. Enter the password shared by your installation engineer. 3. Configure the following settings: Setting What It Does **Network & Internet** Manages Wi-Fi and mobile network connections. **Connected Devices** Allows you Bluetooth connections. **Battery** Shows battery level and usage. **Display** Manages brightness, wallpapers, and screen timeout. **Detection** Runs hardware diagnostic tests such as Melody Test, Buzzer Test, Printer Test, among others. **Scheduled Power On/Off** Sets automatic power on and power off times. **Sound** Manages device volume. **Location** Turns location services on or off. **System** Manages language, time, and other device information. The settings will be updated. * * * ## Zoho Payments App Settings Open the _Zoho Payments_ app on the terminal, then tap the _Settings_ icon within the app to view the **Terminal Settings** and **Admin Settings**. Use these to check terminal information, apply configuration updates, and manage settlement batching. **Prerequisite:** Accessing the Terminal Settings requires a different password. Your installation engineer shares this password with you when the device is handed over. ### Terminal Settings The following terminal settings can be configured on the app: Setting What It Does **Terminal Info** Shows the device’s **TID**, **MID**, **Terminal Serial Number**, **SIM Card Serial Number**, and **KCV**. **Param Download** Runs a setup sequence that downloads the latest configuration parameters, runs a test transaction, and logs on to the network. **Logon** Fetches any configuration updates sent specifically to this device and applies them. **Check for Updates** Checks for and installs available app updates. ### Admin Settings The following admin settings can be configured on the app: Setting What It Does **Change Counts** Lets the admin update transaction counts for each batch. **Manage Terminal Batch** Lets the admin clear the current batch or clear a reversal. Clear Batch manually clears and settles the current batch, instead of waiting for the automatic daily cutoff. Clear Reversal clears a void or reversal request that’s stuck in progress. The funds aren’t reversed and the original payment still gets settled.
