# Ordering Terminals

Order a POS terminal from Zoho Payments to start accepting in-person payments. Before you place an order, verify that delivery is available for your location, choose a purchase or rental plan, and complete the payment.

## Place Order

You can order a POS terminal directly from the _POS Terminals_ module. Check whether the device can be delivered to your location, then complete payment to place the order.

**Prerequisite:** Only users with the **Admin** or **Account Owner** role can place an order.

### Check Delivery Availability

Before you buy, confirm that your location is serviceable.

1.  Go to _POS Terminals_ from the left sidebar.
2.  On the _Overview_ tab, enter your pincode under **Delivery Options**.
3.  Click **Check**.

**Note:** If your pincode is unserviceable, you can’t order a device online. [Contact support](https://www.zoho.com/in/payments/contact-us/) to check alternate delivery options.

Proceed with the order based on the delivery availability.

### Complete Order

After confirming delivery availability:

1.  On the _Overview_ tab, select the required **Quantity**.
2.  Click **Buy Now** and you’ll be taken to the _Checkout_ page.
3.  Review the items in your cart and click **Add Address.**
4.  Enter the delivery address details and click **Save**.

**Note:** The mobile number entered here is used for OTP verification and delivery updates only. Your billing address will continue to be the business address registered with your Zoho Payments account.

4.  Click **Pay** under **Order Summary**.
5.  Choose **UPI** or **Card** and complete the payment.
6.  Set up a mandate to authorise the recurring monthly maintenance fee.

Once payment is complete, your order moves to **Payment Pending** status.

## Purchase and Rental Plans

You can get a POS terminal in one of two ways:

*   **One-time purchase:** You own the device. You pay a one-time device fee and a recurring monthly maintenance fee, which covers device upgrades and support.
*   **Monthly rental:** Zoho Payments provides the device on a rental basis for ₹699 per month, inclusive of maintenance charges.
