Will Zoho Payments return my fee for refunded payments?

Sometimes, you need to refund payments to customers for various reasons. In such cases, you can issue a refund from your available balance. While Zoho Payments does not charge additional fees for processing refunds, the original fee collected for processing your transaction (platform fee) and the associated tax will not be returned to your account.

When a payment is processed, Zoho Payments incurs various costs, including card network fees, bank fees, and other transaction-related expenses. These costs are non-refundable for Zoho Payments, even if the original payment is reversed through a refund.

Zoho Payments charges a small platform fee to cover these costs and provide seamless and secure payment processing services. So, this fee will not be returned to your account even when the original payment has been refunded.
