How can I restrict other users of my organization from editing the item price in transactions?

• Navigate to Settings -> Preferences.
• Under Items, scroll down to Additional Information section.
• Selling Price and Purchase Price - Being mandatory fields, you cannot disable these.
• Click the gear icon next to the fields.
• Choose from Read & Write, Read Only or Hide option for each user role.
• Click Save.

Note: Only the Admin role user can provide or restrict access to the selling and purchase prices. This implicitly means that the users with Read Only access cannot edit the price and users in the Hide category cannot view these fields.
