By integrating it with Zoho Inventory, you can push and accept purchase orders, invoices, bills, payment records, and notes through the Bharat Connect network without leaving the application. ## Benefits of Bharat Connect * Send and receive business transactions with connected buyers and vendors through a secure B2B network. * Reduce manual follow-ups by automating invoice, bill, and payment-related exchanges. * Match transactions faster by keeping order, invoice, and payment flows aligned in Zoho Inventory. * Support smoother cash-flow and reconciliation for businesses working with GST-registered partners. * * * ## Set up Bharat Connect To set up Bharat Connect in Zoho Inventory: **Prerequisites:** * You must be an authorised person for the business. * Your business should be registered in India and have the required GST details ready. * Go to _Settings_. * Click **Integrations & Marketplace**. * Click **Set Up Now** next to **Bharat Connect**. * Review the onboarding details and confirm that you are authorised to set up the integration for your organisation. * Click **Proceed**. * Select your **GSTIN** from the list. * Enter your **Legal Business Name**. * Select your **Business Type**. * Click **Get OTP**. * Enter the OTP sent to your GSTN-registered mobile number. * Click **Verify OTP**. Once the GSTIN is verified, you can continue with the onboarding flow and complete the remaining business details required by Bharat Connect. * * * ## Create a B2B ID A B2B ID is a unique identifier that helps your business participate in the Bharat Connect network and exchange transactions with connected partners. To create a B2B ID: * In the Bharat Connect onboarding flow, select a **B2B ID** option or create a new one. * Use your business name, initials, or a clear brand-based identifier. * Check the box to agree to the **Terms and Conditions**. * Click **Save and Submit**. **Warning:** Once a B2B ID is created, it cannot be changed. Contact support if you need to update or remove the ID. After the request is reviewed and approved, your business will be available on the Bharat Connect network. * * * ## Associate B2B IDs with contacts After you enable Bharat Connect, you can associate your customers and vendors with their B2B IDs using their GSTIN details. ### Link B2B IDs individually To associate a B2B ID with a single customer or vendor: * Go to the _Customers_ or _Vendors_ module. * Open the customer or vendor record. * Click **Edit**. * Go to the **Other Details** section. * Click **Fetch from GSTIN** next to **B2B ID**. * Click **Save**. ### Link B2B IDs in bulk To associate multiple contacts at once: * Go to _Settings_. * Click **Integrations & Marketplace**. * Select **Bharat Connect**. * Click **More** and select **Search Contacts in Bharat Connect**. * Review the matching contacts and click **Link Now**. **Note:** If a contact has more than one B2B ID associated with the same GSTIN, verify the details before you link the record. * * * ## Manage user permissions You can control who can send, accept, and manage Bharat Connect transactions by creating a custom role with the relevant permissions. To create a role: * Go to _Settings_. * Select **Users & Roles**. * Go to the **Roles** tab. * Click **New Role**. * Enter a **Name** and **Description** for the role. * Scroll down to **Bharat Connect**. * Enable the required permissions: * **Send Transactions via Bharat Connect** * **Accept Transactions from Bharat Connect** * **Manage Bharat Connect Integration** * Click **Proceed**. * Click **Save**. **Note:** To use the **Manage Bharat Connect Integration** permission, ensure **Manage Integrations** is enabled for the same role. * * * ## Send and receive transactions Once Bharat Connect is active and your contacts are linked, you can start exchanging transactions with your business partners. ### Create and push purchase orders To send a purchase order through Bharat Connect: * Go to the _Purchases_ module. * Open the purchase order you want to send. * Click **Save and Send via Bharat Connect**. The order is pushed to the vendor through the Bharat Connect network. The vendor can then review, accept, or reject it from their system. ### Accept sales orders received from vendors To accept a sales order received through Bharat Connect: * Go to the _Sales Orders_ module. * Open the order received through Bharat Connect. * Click **Accept**. If you reject an order, the record is removed from the workflow and cannot be reused as an active transaction. ### Create and push invoices To send an invoice through Bharat Connect: * Go to the _Invoices_ module. * Create a new invoice or open an existing one. * Enter the required details. * Click **Save and Send via Bharat Connect**. The invoice is shared with the customer, who can review and respond to it through the Bharat Connect network. ### Accept bills To accept a bill received through Bharat Connect: * Go to the _Bills_ module. * Open the bill under the **Bills from Bharat Connect** section. * Click **Create** to add it to your bills list or **Reject** if needed. * Verify the details and click **Save and Accept**. ### Push credit and debit notes To send a credit or debit note through Bharat Connect: * Go to the relevant module for the note. * Create a new credit or debit note. * Select the connected customer or vendor. * Enter the required details. * Click **Save and Send via Bharat Connect**. ### Push payment records To share an offline payment record with your connected partner: * Go to the _Payments Made_ module. * Select the payment record. * Click **Push to Bharat Connect**. * Confirm the action in the pop-up. The payment record is sent through Bharat Connect and the status is updated accordingly. * * *
