Online Booking
Online booking allows employees to book their trip itineraries directly from Zoho Expense. Before you enable online booking for your organisation, you must request access from Zoho Expense.
Request Access for Online Booking
To request access for online booking:
- Navigate to Admin View.
- Go to the Trips module.
- Click Request Access.
- In the pop-up, enter your organisation’s GST details and travel details.
Note: Any changes you make here will also be updated in your organisation profile in Settings.
GST Details
Under the GST Details tab:
- Enter the Primary GSTIN.
- Select how you want to bill all trip expenses:
- Primary GSTIN: Select this if all trip booking invoices should be billed to your organisation’s primary GSTIN.
- Multiple GSTINs: Select this if trip booking invoices should be billed to different GSTINs based on the branch, location, or business entity.
- Click Continue.
Travel Details
Under the Travel Details tab:
- Estimated yearly business trips: Enter the number of business trips your organisation takes in a year.
- Average annual travel cost: Enter the average annual travel expense incurred by your organisation.
- Frequently travelled countries: Select the countries your employees travel to most often.
- Additional Details: Enter any additional requirements, if applicable.
- Click Submit Request. Your request will be submitted to Zoho Expense. We will review it and get back to you shortly.
Pro Tip: While our support team reviews your request, you can click Contact Support in the Trips module if you have any questions or want to follow up on the request. Fill in the required details and submit the form.
Set Up Online Booking
Once your request has been approved, you can set up online booking for your organisation. Here’s how:
- Navigate to Admin View.
- Go to the Trips module.
- Click Set Up Now.
POC Details
In the POC Details (Point of contact) section, enter the point of contact details. Details of the user who sets up the online booking will be pre-filled. You can edit them if required.
- Name
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
Note: The details you enter here will also update the user’s details in Settings.
Click Save and Continue.
Organisation Details
In the Organisation Details section, enter your organisation details. If these details are already available in your organisation profile, they will be pre-filled. Otherwise, you can enter them manually and they will be saved to your organisation profile.
- Company Address
- Email Address: Enter the email address to which booking invoices should be sent.
Note: Any changes you make here will also be updated in your organisation profile under Settings.
Click Save and Continue.
Terms and Conditions
Read and agree to the Zoho Travel terms and conditions.
- Mark the I agree to the Zoho Travel terms and conditions for enabling Zoho Travel checkbox.
- Click Finish Setup. Online booking will be enabled for your organisation.

Configure Travel Policy
Configure travel policies to set clear limits and guidelines for online booking. Employees can then book itineraries based on the policies assigned to them. Read our help document to learn more about travel policies.
