Manage Travel Policy

You can edit, clone, and delete your travel policy. In this help document, you’ll learn how to perform these actions.

Policy Preference

You can choose whether to set a default travel policy that will be automatically applied to all new users. Here’s how:

Navigate to Settings.
Go to Travel Policies under Setup & Configurations.
Click the Gear icon at the top right corner.
In the pop-up, select one of the following options:
- Set a default policy: Select the policy you want to set as default from the dropdown.
- Don’t set a default policy: No default policy will be applied to new users.
Click Save. The selected policy will be set as the default travel policy and will be applied to new users who are not assigned a travel policy.

You can make changes to the rules and limits that you’ve configured in a travel policy by editing it.

To edit a travel policy:

Navigate to Settings.
Go to Travel Policies under Setup & Configurations.
Click the More icon at the right corner of the travel policy you want to edit.
Select Edit.
Make the necessary changes and click Save.

If you want to replicate a travel policy you created earlier, you can clone it. Here’s how:

Navigate to Settings.
Go to Travel Policies under Setup & Configurations.
Click the travel policy you want to clone.
Click the More icon at the right corner of the travel policy you want to clone.
Select Clone.
A new travel policy creation page will open. Provide a name for the travel policy and edit other details based on your needs.
Click Save and Assign Users. A travel policy will be created.
You can add users to the travel policy by following the steps mentioned in the Manage Policy Users section.

If you no longer require a travel policy, you can delete it.

Prerequisites:

To delete a travel policy:

Navigate to Settings.
Go to Travel Policies under Setup & Configurations.
Click the More icon at the right corner of the travel policy you want to delete.
Select Delete.
In the pop-up, click Delete again to confirm your action.
