# Can I apply ITC on purchase transactions before the rates change?

You can claim input tax credit (ITC) on valid purchase transactions created before September 22, 2025. The reduction in rates does not affect the ITC earned on previous transactions. If you’re a registered business, you can continue to claim and use ITC on those transactions.
