Why does the Summary of Outward Supplies report export gets saved in the gstnformat.customization format instead of .json?

If you’re using Zoho Books through Windows platform, the downloaded file will have the .customization extension. You can rename the file extension and here’s how you can do it:

• Go to the Downloads folder on your system and locate the downloaded gstnformat.customization file.
• Right-click on the file and choose Rename. Replace .customization with .json.

At times, the extension might not be visible in the downloaded file because you may have enabled the option to hide extensions. To disable this option, follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer and click the View tab.
• Select File name extensions.
• Uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types box.
• Click Apply and then, click OK.
