Can I view the trial balance report with opening and closing balances?

Yes, you can view the report with opening and closing balances if you generate the report for a date range. Here’s how:

• Go to the Reports module and click Accountant from Report Category.
• Choose Trial Balance.
• Next to Filters in the top-left corner of the page, click the dropdown next to As of Date and choose Date Range.
• In the dropdown next to Today, select Custom.
• Set the date range for which you want to view the report. For example, if you want to view the report for the current financial year, set the start date to the migration date and the end date to today.
• Click Run Report.

• Now, click Customize Report Columns.

• In the Available Columns section, hover over Opening Balance and click the + button next to it.
• Similarly, click the + icon next to Closing Balance.

• Click Run Report.
