# In the import file, I have added a different address, but when it is imported, the default address is used. What could be the reason behind this?

The address details mentioned in the file needs to be mapped against the address field of Zoho Books in the mapping page while importing. If it is not mapped, the default address of the customer will be used.

**Note:** If the address mentioned in the import file needs to be added as an additional address to the respective customer, make sure you enable the option **Map the Customer’s Addresses** in the import file to their _customer record_ in Zoho Books on the import page.
