How do I add shipping charges to my invoices under GST?

Under GST, shipping charges are taxable. To add shipping charges to an invoice, you need to add it as a line item.

The shipping charges cannot fall under the same account as your items. So, you will need to keep track the shipping charges in a separate account. To do so,

• Click on the icon in the same line as the shipping charges and select Add Additional Information from the dropdown.

• Now select Shipping Charges under Account and click Save.
