# If the goods are transported using multiple vehicles, do I need to generate an individual e-Way Bill for each vehicle?

It is not necessary to generate a separate e-way bill. If goods are transported using multiple vehicles before reaching the final destination, the transporter must update the vehicle number for each stage of the journey in **Part B** of the existing e-way bill.
