# Why I am not able to use the same prefix for branches under the same GSTIN?

Each prefix should be unique. You cannot use the same prefix for multiple transaction series within branches sharing the same GSTIN. You need to modify the prefix for all the modules listed in the configuration page in a way that it differs from the prefixes used in other transaction series.
