While creating transactions, a specific branch isn’t appearing in the branch field. What could be the reason for this?
If you’re unable to view a branch while creating a transaction or generating reports, it could be due to the following reasons:
- If the particular branch is made inactive, it will not be listed in the branch field while creating transactions. To verify whether the branch is inactive:
- Go to Settings on the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Branches from Organization.
- If the branch which is not displayed while creating a transaction appears in grey, it means the branch has been marked as inactive. If you would like to use the branch again, hover over it and click Mark as Active.
- To mark the branch as active, hover the cursor over the respective branch and choose Mark as Active.
- If the user who is creating a transaction does not have access to the branch, they will not be able to create transactions or generate reports using that branch. To provide user access for a branch:
- Go to Settings on the top-right corner of the page.
- Then, go to Users & Roles and choose Users.
- Locate the user to whom you want to grant access and click the Edit icon near Accessible Branch.
- Select the branches for which you wish to provide access and click Save.
