# How do I create a workflow rule that will be executed on a specific date?

To create a workflow rule that will be executed on a specific date:

*   Go to **Settings** in the top right corner.
*   Click **Workflow Rules** under _Automation_.
*   Click **\+ New Workflow Rule**.
*   Enter the **Workflow Rule Name**.
*   Select a **Module** to which you want to associate the workflow rule from the dropdown.
*   Click **Next**.
*   Select **Date Based** from the _Workflow Type_ dropdown.
*   Enter the date on which the workflow rule should be executed in the **Date of Execution** field.
*   Select the **Execution Time** and **Execution Cycle**.
*   Click **Next**.
*   Add a criteria based on which the workflow should be triggered from the first, second, and third dropdowns.
*   Click **Next**.
*   Select the **Immediate Action Type** that should be triggered and the **Action Name** under _Actions_.
*   Click **Save**.

This will ensure that your workflow rule is executed on the specified date and time.
