# How do I display my customer’s GSTIN in their transaction?

You can display your customer’s GSTIN on transaction PDFs. Here’s how:

1.  Go to **Settings > Preferences > Customers**.
    
2.  Click the **Insert Placeholders** dropdown under **Customer Billing Address Format** or **Customer Shipping Address Format** depending on which address is displayed on your transaction PDFs.
    
3.  Select the **GSTIN** placeholder.
    
4.  Click **Save**.
    
    **Note:** The GSTIN will be displayed only on the transaction PDFs along with the billing or shipping address.
