# How do I mark a customer as Inactive?

To mark a customer as inactive:

*   Go to the **Customers** module from the left sidebar.
*   Select the customer whom you want to mark as Inactive.
*   Click the **More** dropdown and select **Mark as Inactive**.

Now, this customer will be marked as inactive and you will not be able to add any new transactions for them.

**Note**: You will not be able to mark customers with active subscriptions as Inactive.
