# Can I change the name of my Customer Portal? How will it affect my organization?

Yes, you can change your portal name. Here’s how:

*   Navigate to **Settings** > **Preferences** > **General** under **Customer Portal**.
*   Edit the **Portal Name** field.
*   Click **Save**.

**Note:** Changing the portal name will modify the portal URL accordingly. You will have to [resend the modified link to your customers](/billing/help/settings/customer-portal/customer-portal.html#enable), with which they can access the Customer Portal.
