The Zoho CRM field lets you add new records, records to related lists or update existing records in your Zoho CRM from Zoho Forms.

Adding Zoho CRM Field

When you add the Zoho CRM field to your form, you need to specify the required Module, Layout and Field.

You can also choose to map fields from Zoho CRM to Zoho Forms.

Now you can go to the Integrations tab and set up the required function to be performed.

Add New Record

You can add a new record from Zoho Forms to standard or custom modules in your Zoho CRM. To do this, after adding the Zoho CRM Field to your form:

  • Navigate to Integrations >> Zoho CRM and select the New Record option in the right pane. 
  • Specify the required CRM module, layout and map the mandatory CRM fields
  • Click the Integrate button.  Learn More.

Add Related List

You can add a new record to a Related List in your Zoho CRM. To do this, after adding the Zoho CRM Field to your form:

  • Navigate to Integrations >> Zoho CRM and select the Related List option in the right pane.
  • Select the required Related List and Layout from the dropdown.
  • Map all the mandatory CRM fields to the corresponding fields in your form.
  • To map more fields, click on the Add Fields button.
  • Select the necessary Actions to be triggered in Zoho CRM. Workflow and Attachment are the actions available.
  • Click Integrate.

Update Existing Record

You can update an existing record in Zoho CRM from the CRM field in your Zoho Forms. To do this, after adding the Zoho CRM Field to your form:

  • Navigate to Integrations >> Zoho CRM and select the Update Record option in the right pane.
  • The Module and Layout chosen while configuring the Zoho CRM field is displayed by default.
  • The Field chosen while configuring the Zoho CRM field is taken as the Lookup Selection.
  • Map the necessary fields by clicking the Add Fields button and choosing the necessary fields from the dropdowns.
  • Select the necessary Actions to be triggered in Zoho CRM. Workflow and Attachment are the actions available.
  • Click Integrate.

Trigger Actions in Zoho CRM

Under Actions, you can choose to trigger certain actions in Zoho CRM every time a form submission comes in.

  1. Workflow: Select this option to trigger your workflows in Zoho CRM while adding entries via Zoho Forms.
  2. Attachment: Select this option to add attached files in Zoho Forms to your Zoho CRM account. Note that signatures will also be added as attachments. Also, if you map Image options field to Zoho CRM, only the image labels will be sent across. The images will not be attached.

Remove Integration

To remove an integrated field, click on the minus ' - ' icon in the right corner of the fields.

To remove CRM integration altogether, click on the Remove integration button present at the bottom of the page and confirm the same.

Note: The Zoho CRM field works only in the forms that are privately shared within the organization. This field will not work when the form is shared as a public link.
