Warehouse Reports

Warehouse reports help you monitor stock distribution across your locations, track inter-warehouse transfers, and manage picking operations. Go to Reports from the left sidebar, then select Warehouse from the Report Category list.


Warehouse Details

The Warehouse Details report shows the stock position of each item across all your warehouses - including quantity ordered, committed, received, despatched, and available. Use it to compare stock levels between warehouses and identify imbalances.

Scenario: Zylker Inc operates two warehouses - one in the north and one in the south. Bailey generates the Warehouse Details report to compare available stock at each location and plan transfer orders to balance stock before the upcoming sales peak.

To generate this report:

  • Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  • Select Warehouse from the Report Category list.
  • Click Warehouse Details.
  • Set a Date Range and any additional filters (warehouse, stock availability, item name), then click Run Report.

This report includes the following columns:

  • ITEM NAME: Name of the inventory item.
  • SKU: Stock Keeping Unit of the item.
  • WAREHOUSE NAME: Name of the warehouse holding the stock.
  • QUANTITY ORDERED: Quantity on open purchase orders for this warehouse.
  • QUANTITY IN: Quantity received into this warehouse during the selected period.
  • QUANTITY OUT: Quantity despatched from this warehouse during the period.
  • COMMITTED STOCK: Quantity reserved against confirmed sales orders in this warehouse.
  • STOCK ON HAND: Current physical stock in this warehouse.
  • AVAILABLE FOR SALE: Stock on hand minus committed stock in this warehouse.
  • QUANTITY IN TRANSIT: Quantity in transit to or from this warehouse via transfer orders.

Bin Location Details

The Bin Location Details report shows the stock held in each bin location within your warehouses. Use it to verify stock placement, locate items within a warehouse, and plan restocking of specific bins.

To generate this report:

  • Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  • Select Warehouse from the Report Category list.
  • Click Bin Location Details.
  • Select a warehouse and any additional filters, then click Run Report.

This report includes the following columns:

  • ITEM NAME: Name of the item stored in the bin location.
  • BIN NAME: Name or reference of the bin location within the warehouse.
  • STATUS: Current status of the bin (e.g., Active).
  • IN QUANTITY: Total quantity of the item received into this bin.
  • OUT QUANTITY: Total quantity of the item despatched from this bin.
  • BALANCE QUANTITY: Current quantity of the item remaining in this bin.

Transfer Order Summary

The Transfer Order Summary report provides an aggregated view of all inter-warehouse transfer orders - showing the source warehouse, destination warehouse, total quantity transferred, and transfer order status. Use it to review transfer activity for a period and assess how effectively stock is being redistributed.

To generate this report:

  • Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  • Select Warehouse from the Report Category list.
  • Click Transfer Order Summary.
  • Set a Date Range and any additional filters, then click Run Report.

This report includes the following columns:

  • ORDER NUMBER: Unique reference number of the transfer order.
  • DATE: Date on which the transfer order was created.
  • STATUS: Current status (e.g., Draft, Confirmed, Transferred).
  • FROM WAREHOUSE NAME: Source warehouse from which stock is being transferred.
  • TO WAREHOUSE NAME: Destination warehouse receiving the stock.
  • QUANTITY: Total quantity of items to be transferred.
  • QUANTITY TRANSFERRED: Quantity that has actually been transferred.
  • COST PRICE: Cost price per unit of the transferred items.
  • TOTAL: Total cost value of the transfer order.

Transfer Order Details

The Transfer Order Details report lists each individual transfer order line - showing the item, quantity, source and destination warehouses, transfer order number, date, and status. Use it to verify the details of specific transfers or audit stock movements between locations.

To generate this report:

  • Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  • Select Warehouse from the Report Category list.
  • Click Transfer Order Details.
  • Set a Date Range and any additional filters, then click Run Report.

This report includes the following columns:

  • ORDER NUMBER: Unique reference number of the transfer order.
  • DATE: Date on which the transfer order was created.
  • STATUS: Current status of the transfer (e.g., Draft, Confirmed, Transferred).
  • FROM WAREHOUSE NAME: Source warehouse from which stock is being transferred.
  • TO WAREHOUSE NAME: Destination warehouse receiving the stock.
  • ITEM NAME: Name of the item being transferred.
  • QUANTITY: Total quantity of the item to be transferred.
  • QUANTITY TRANSFERRED: Quantity that has actually been transferred.
  • COST PRICE: Cost price per unit of the transferred item.
  • TOTAL: Total cost value of this item line in the transfer order.

Picklist Summary

The Picklist Summary report shows all picklists generated during a selected period - including the picklist number, associated sales orders, total items, and picklist status. Use it to monitor picking workload and track how efficiently orders are being picked.

To generate this report:

  • Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  • Select Warehouse from the Report Category list.
  • Click Picklist Summary.
  • Set a Date Range and any additional filters, then click Run Report.

This report includes the following columns:

  • DATE: Date on which the picklist was created.
  • PICKLIST#: Unique reference number of the picklist.
  • STATUS: Current status of the picklist (e.g., Open, Picked, Closed).
  • ASSIGNED TO: User assigned to complete the picking.
  • WAREHOUSE NAME: Warehouse where picking is taking place.
  • QUANTITY TO PICK: Total quantity of items to be picked.
  • QUANTITY PICKED: Quantity already picked.
  • QUANTITY REMAINING: Quantity yet to be picked.

Picklist Details

The Picklist Details report shows each individual line item within your picklists - including the item name, quantity to pick, bin location, and pick status. Use it to verify that all items in a picklist were picked correctly and to identify any skipped or partially picked items.

To generate this report:

  • Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  • Select Warehouse from the Report Category list.
  • Click Picklist Details.
  • Set a Date Range and any additional filters, then click Run Report.

This report includes the following columns:

  • DATE: Date on which the picklist was created.
  • PICKLIST#: Unique reference number of the picklist.
  • STATUS: Current status of the picklist.
  • ASSIGNED TO: User assigned to complete the picking.
  • WAREHOUSE NAME: Warehouse where picking is taking place.
  • ITEM NAME: Name of the item to be picked.
  • QUANTITY TO PICK: Quantity of this item to be picked.
  • QUANTITY PICKED: Quantity of this item already picked.
  • QUANTITY REMAINING: Quantity of this item yet to be picked.
