Why does a banner to update tax codes and addresses appear on the Avalara Tax settings page?
This banner appears for subscriptions created before your Avalara integration was set up, since they lack the required tax codes and addresses.
To fix this, update each subscription listed in the banner:
- Go to Settings and select Taxes.
- In the Avalara section, click on the banner that lists the subscriptions to be updated.
- Click on a subscription from the list.
- Update the address details for the subscription.
- Next, update the tax codes for the line items.
- Click Save.
- Repeat this for each subscription shown in the banner.
Note: The banner will disappear once all listed subscriptions have been updated with valid addresses and tax codes.
Once done, Avalara will automatically calculate and apply taxes for these subscriptions going forward.
