[Back](./) # How do I send out customized reminders for my invoice payments? Zoho Billing offers both automatic and manual reminders, 1. **Automatic reminders**: * Go to **Settings** from the left sidebar. * Select **Reminders** under _Reminders & Notifications_. * Under Automated Reminders, you can slide the toggle for the reminders you want to enable. Upto 30 automatic reminders can be enabled, with an option to remind both the customer and yourself that due date for payment is approaching/has passed a certain number of days. They are automatically sent out on the set reminder dates. 2. **Manual reminders** are available for overdue and sent invoices. Here’s how to configure the reminders: * Go to **Settings** from the left sidebar. * Select **Reminders** under _Reminders & Notifications_. * Under **‘Manual Reminders’**, you can configure the reminder text to suit the message you want to convey. * Click **Save** to save the reminder. To send a manual reminder out: * Go to **Invoices** under _Sales_. * Select an invoice for which the payment is due. * Click the Reminders dropdown and select **Send Email**. * Check the contents of the email and click _Send_ to send the remainder.
