# How can I disable the Customer Portal for a customer or a contact person?

To disable the portal for a customer or contact person:

*   Navigate to the **Customers** tab and select the customer for whom you want to disable the portal.
*   Click the **More** dropdown in the top-right corner and select **Configure Customer Portal**.
*   In the **Enable Portal Access** popup, uncheck the customer and contact persons for whom you want to disable the Customer Portal for and click **Save**.
