Errors marked with `*` require explicit handling in your app. For general error-handling guidance, see [Handle SDK Errors](/en-ng/billing/help/omnichannel-subscription/sdk-configuration.html#handle-sdk-errors) in the Best Practices guide. * * * ## Backend Server Related Errors Error Code Description Resolution `INVALID_API_KEY` The API key provided is invalid or has expired. Update your app with a valid API key (critical). `INVALID_USER_ID` The `user_id` parameter in `ZSConfiguration` is empty. Ensure a valid `user_id` is provided when initialising the SDK. `PLAN_INACTIVE_IN_ZSM` The selected plan is marked as inactive in Zoho Billing. Activate the plan in Zoho Billing before allowing purchases. `PURCHASE_ALREADY_PROCESSED*` The purchase is already synced to Zoho Billing. Use your backend to verify the active subscription. _(Applies to `restorePurchase` only.)_ `UNKNOWN_SERVER_ERROR` An unknown error occurred on Zoho Billing server. Show the error and prompt the user to contact support with `ZSErrorCode` details. `STORE_CONNECTIVITY_ERROR` Connection problem between Zoho Billing and Play Store server. Ask the user to retry after some time. _(Applies to `initiatePurchase`, `changePlan`, `restorePurchase`.)_ * * * ## Play Store Purchase Related Errors Error Code Description Resolution `INAPP_PURCHASE_NOT_ALLOWED` In-app purchase is not allowed on this device. Show the error; the user cannot complete the purchase on this device. `ITEM_ALREADY_PURCHASED` The selected plan is already purchased by the user. Inform the user that this plan is already active. `ITEM_UNAVAILABLE_FOR_PURCHASE` The selected plan is not available in Play Store. Check Play Store configuration for the Product ID. `USER_CANCELED*` User pressed back button during the purchase dialog. No error dialog needed; allow the user to retry. `PLAY_STORE_PROBLEM*` An error occurred during Play Store purchase processing. Allow the user to retry the purchase. `DEVELOPER_ERROR` Invalid parameters passed to the Play Store purchase method. Check SDK integration code for parameter errors. `NO_PURCHASE_AVAILABLE*` No active purchases found in Play Store. Show a user message; no purchases to restore. _(Applies to `restorePurchase` only.)_ `UNKNOWN_ERROR` An unknown error occurred with Play Store. Show the error and allow the user to retry or contact support. * * * ## Network Connection Related Errors Error Code Description Resolution `NO_INTERNET_CONNECTION*` Device has no internet connection. Prompt the user to restore connection and retry. `NETWORK_ERROR*` A network connectivity issue occurred. Ask the user to retry the operation. **Note:** Errors marked with `*` should be handled explicitly in your app. For other errors, display a user-friendly message and prompt the user to contact your support team with the `ZSErrorCode` details (`code` and `description`). * * *
