Search for an item

You can search for an item in following methods:

  • Name/Code Search: Tap the search icon from the home screen to search for an item using name or SKU code.

  • Barcode/Serial No. Search: Tap the Barcode Reader icon to search for an item using the Barcode or Serial Number.

  • Barcode Scanner: Printed barcodes in the item can be scanned using the camera from your mobile devices. Tap the barcode scanner icon and allow permission for camera to scan barcodes.

  • Voice Search: You can search for an item using voice by enabling Google Voice. To enable Google Voice, select the Enable Google Voice toggle switch under General Settings.

Create a Bill

A bill can be created by selecting the items from the Grid/List view. You can also search and select the Item. Once the items are added to the cart, you can add the customer information, change quantity, price, item discount, and add notes if needed.

You can either accept payment and close the transaction or create a due bill. Due bill can be generated when the amount is yet to be paid by the customer for buying the product.

To create a bill

Search and select the item purchased from the grid or list view.

Tap the Go to Cart option.

Tap the Add Customer icon and select a customer from the list.

You can also click the Add New option, to add a new customer by entering the name, mobile number, email, address, and state.

Tap an item from the cart to change the quantity, price and apply discount.

Tap Checkout.The total amount to be paid will be displayed.

Select a payment type.

If you choose Cash, enter the Amount.

If you choose Card, enter the Amount, Bank Name, and Reference Number.

If you choose Credit Sale, enter the Amount.For a due bill, it's mandatory to add the customer.

Tap Tender.

Create a delivery bill

In a retail store, customers might want to get the items delivered to their houses. The delivery type can be classified as in-store pickup or home delivery. In the case of in-store pickup, the customer might place the order over call and choose to pick the items from the store. Whereas for home delivery, the cashier can carry out the payment transaction, get the address and send it out for delivery.

To create a delivery bill

Search and select the item purchased from the grid or list view.

Tap the Cart icon.

Tap the Add Customer icon and select a customer from the list.You can also click the add icon, to add a new customer by entering the name, mobile number, email, address, and state.

Tap More and select Delivery Options.

Select the Delivery Method and tap Apply.

Tap Checkout.

Select a payment type.

If you choose Cash, enter the Amount.

If you choose Card, enter the Amount, Bank Name, and Reference Number.

If you choose Credit Sale, enter the Amount.For a due bill, it's mandatory to add the customer.

Tap Tender.

Hold and Recall a sale

At times the cashier at the point of sale might have to stop processing the bill due to various reasons, temporarily. For example, the customer wants to grab a few more items just before billing, or there might be some issues in processing the payment. In that case, the bill can be put on hold and can be recalled.

To hold a bill

Search and select the item purchased from the grid or list view.

Tap the Cart icon.

Tap More and select Hold Cart.

Tap Hold in the popup.

To recall a bill

Tap the Cart icon.

Tap the Recall button from the top right corner.

Select the Bill to continue the sales transaction.
