I’m trying to edit an e-Invoiced transaction but am unable to do so? How can I make changes to this transaction?

To edit transaction that is already e-Invoiced, you have to enable the Edit permission for pushed transactions. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner.
  • Select e-Invoicing under Taxes and Compliance in the Organization Settings pane.
  • Click Enable next to Enable editing optional fields in pushed transactions.
  • Then, click Enable again in the popup that appears.

You will be able to edit the following fields after enabling the Edit permission:

  • For invoices and debit notes: Order Number, Due Date, Customer Notes, Additional Information, Custom Field(s), Reporting Tags and Terms & Conditions.

  • For credit notes: Reference#: Customer Notes, Additional Information, Custom Field(s), Reporting Tags and Terms & Conditions.
