What is Professional Tax and how do I enable it?

Professional Tax is a state-level tax levied on salaried individuals and professionals. Tax slabs and deduction frequency vary based on the state or municipality.

To enable Professional Tax:

1. Click Settings in the top-right corner.
2. Click Statutory Components under Setup & Configurations.
3. Switch to the Professional Tax tab.
4. Click Update PT Number and enter your PT number.
5. Review and update the PT Slabs if needed.
