How do I link a sales order to a purchase order?

It is not possible to link a sales order to a purchase order. However, when you convert a sales order into a purchase order, Zoho ERP will record that in the Comments & History section.

To check if a sales order has been converted into a purchase order:

• Click Sales in the left sidebar.
• Hover over the Sales Orders dropdown in the Modules bar and click Sales Orders.
• Open the sales order that you want to link to a purchase order.
• Click Comments & History in the top right corner of the sales order’s details page.

Here, you will be able to find a comment Purchase order raised for Sales order.

To check if a purchase order was created by converting a sales order:

• Go to Purchases on the left sidebar.
• Click Purchase Orders from the Modules bar.
• Open the purchase order that has been linked with the sales order.
• Click Comments & History in the top right corner of the purchase order’s details page.

Here, you will be able to find a comment Purchase order created from Sales order.
