I need to replace damaged items after delivery. How do I handle replacements using delivery challans?

If a customer reports damaged items after delivery, you can handle the replacement using delivery challans by recording the return and issuing a new delivery challan for the replacement items.

If all items are replaced:

  • Open the original delivery challan that was marked as Open.
  • Click Mark as Returned.
  • Create a new delivery challan for the replacement items for the same customer.

If only some items are replaced:

  • Open the original delivery challan that was marked as Open and Partially Invoiced.
  • Record a Partial Return based on the quantity being replaced.
  • Create a new delivery challan for the replacement items for the same customer.
