Can I convert a bill to an invoice?

No. You cannot convert a bill to an invoice. However, you can convert a billable item of a bill into an invoice. Here’s how:

• Go to Purchases on the left sidebar.
• Click Bills in the Modules bar at the top and select Bills from the dropdown.
• Select the bill that you want to convert to an invoice.
• Click Edit at the top.
• Select a customer from the Customer Details column in the Item Table.
• Click Non-Billable below the customer and check Billable in the Billing Preferences pop-up.
• Select a Project Nam if required.
• Enter a mark up percentage if required.
• Click Update and save the bill.
• Click the More icon at the top and selct Create Invoice. You’ll be redirected to New Invoice page.
• The invoice details will be auto-populated. Preview the invoice and make the necessary changes, if any.
• Click Save.
