What is item categories and how to enable this in Zoho ERP?
Item Categories in Zoho ERP help you organize similar items under a common group. Categorizing items makes it easier to manage inventory, pricing, and tax settings efficiently. It also helps apply default configurations to multiple items at once. Using item categories improves consistency across items and reduces manual effort.
To enable Item Categories in Zoho ERP,
- Click the Gear icon on the top right corner.
- Scroll down to Module Settings.
- Navigate to Items under General.
- Go to the Field Customization tab.
- Hover on the Category field.
- Click the dropdown and select Mark as Active.
