How do I cancel a fixed asset in Zoho ERP?

When you cancel a fixed asset, you can no longer track the asset’s depreciation, and all previously recorded journals will also be deleted. To cancel:

• Go to Accounting on the left sidebar.
• Select Fixed Assets in the module bar.
• Under the Asset Register tab, select the fixed asset you want to cancel.
• In the details page, click the More icon in the top right corner and select Cancel from the dropdown.
• In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes.

The asset will be marked as Canceled. To start tracking the asset’s depreciation again, click Convert to Draft at the top of the asset’s Details page, and mark it as Active.
